Psilocybe Galindoi Psilocybe galindoi is found growing gregariously in soil at higher elevations and in tall grass in or near Pinus-Quercus (pine with oak) forests in Mexico. Most recently they have been seen in the U.S. state of Georgia. Elevation does not seem to play a role in the habitat of Psilocybe galindoi in the U.S. Psilocybe galindoi is usually found in Bermuda grass or fescue grass.
